Don't ask don't tell.
Ignorance is bliss.
Fuel the fight game at all costs.
Perfect the shoulder roll.
They say they mafia influenced titles in the past. I don't care to change that history if true. It's the fight game, it just adds to the grittiness, which adds to the appeal.
Any news is good news, which Floyd translated to "whether they hate me or love me they will watch my fights". Fury tangled with the mob?Just adds to his mystique. I'm just grabbing my popcorn.Comment

Under no circumstances should that ever be allowed to happen.
No to "ignorance is bliss." Let's have full transparency.
Shame on you for supporting this, 'Wraps. What's next...turn a blind eye when child sex traffickers throw money at the sport? Fuel the fight game at all costs, right?Comment

Yeah, the mafia influenced titles in the past and it ruined the credibility of the sport and the fighters.
Under no circumstances should that ever be allowed to happen.

Kinahan though, has probably been involved with more murders than everyone else in boxing combined.Comment
-
However he should be charged with a crime, and should have a chance to defend himself in court.
Kinahan has no criminal record, and is innocent until proven guilty in the eyes of the law.Comment

This article is demonizing a man that has no been convicted for any crime yet. If he committed the alleged crime before entering into the boxing business why bring it on here and worse, make it seem as if he did it last minutes thereby smearing our sport... Well, it's Fury. He has a way of knowing people like kinahan and Peter the seller of Wild BComment

Course he'll still be in the background, this is just PR bullchit. Difficult to say what Kinahan's angle is here, tabloid reports suggest he's just a lover of the limelight, but all gangsters start to try to go legit after a generation or two (hell I'd argue the case that most of the ruling elites and royal families of the world basically started off as just being the mfers who were just ruthless enough to run a protection racket on a whole country)... or alternatively a more cynical mind might point out that if there was ever a sport almost designed to make the laundering of ill gotten £s, $s or Pesos easy, it's boxing.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 06-25-2020, 04:03 AM.Comment

People shouldn't just stand by and accept criminality and corruption. They didn't in this case and all the attention caused Arum and Fury to pull back from dealing with Kinahan.
That's a good lesson to remember moving forward. And it wouldn't hurt to shine that light into other dark corners of this sport as well. Wish the boxing media would be more assertive.Comment
