Guys with big names realize there is a lot of money still in these circus fights. Superfights with higher PPV have a lot of ultra casuals buying it, the people that dont watch the smaller fights. To them, any old former boxer that loses weight and hits the bag will look like they are "back". Forget that the timing is gone, forget that shot RJJ was still shredded, still fast and looked freakish shadowboxing, forget that Tyson in his 30s 15 years ago couldnt handle kevin mcbride.

Also agree DLH cant make 160 today considering 13 years ago 154lbs would require a complete training camp and water drain to make..... so he should really be doing 168 these days.

Interesting idea for a mayweather fight... it would sell, i think Mayweather might take it but he would demand he get the larger split. IDK if the egos between the two would agree on split. Mayweather would beat the ever living **** out of him today though, mayweather has still be sparring in the ring and went with that 168 pounder this year, they said his timing was still good. I thought he looked sloppy vs McGreggor but the weird style of mcgreggor also makes it hard to judge. Oscars timing has to be completely shot.

What's up with all these shot fighters talking about comebacks?
can't speak for anyone else but I'm not interested in watching old men fight, even if they were my idol in their prime

There's no question about that. Money May can still make 147. If there's no Floyd fight then perhaps he should consider a GGG fight at 168. I think it's at least plausible since Gennady appears to be on the decline.

The sad part about it is, the Golden Boy is still the Golden Goose. If he shows a few video clips of being in shape like Tyson, someone will throw him millions. But everyone on here knows what Oscar really meant. Oscar isn’t ******. What he really meant is “let me see who really signs Mike to a fight and for how much and against who, then I will make my decision.” Oscar wants to see how the money might look for him too, LMAO!!!
