I agree to a degree but fighters who hand pick their opponents with padded out records I have difficulty respecting those, both male and female ..

I respect most who step into a ring but that does not mean that I am interested in watching them fight. I want to see the best against the best. I want to see back and forth mind games and physical prowess. I do not want to see 5th tier physical abilities and action. There are a lot of male fighters who I would not bother watching as I deem them too boring. FYI action does not equal exciting for me, what I enjoy watching is mental as well as physical wits being matched. Think of Chess.

          That's not what this is.

Katie & Amanda are both quality fighters

Katie & Amanda are arguably the best at what they do

Amanda Serrano is a cherry picker. She wins vacant belts against overmatched club fighters, then vacates them without defending them.

Taylor got beat by Persoon then ran from the rematch.

Neither Serrano nor Taylor has any claim to being the best female fighter.

            1. Cecilia Braekhus
            2. Delfine Persoon
            3. Claressa Shields

            End of discussion.

They may be the best at what they do but that is exactly my point. They are hardly anything better than your backyard fights. The skill level and athleticism between men and women is too wide in boxing and I prefer to see wits as well as physical prowess not just heart.
