Don't like MBJ and no way Ward should have lost in the 2nd movie. Thumbs down when it comes to Creed movies.

I never saw them but I thought the Rocky movies were fun to watch but had very unrealistic fake looking fights that were nothing like real boxing.

It's a recurring theme in Rocky movies
Rocky - Rocky loses to Apollo
Rocky II - Rocky beats Apollo
Rocky III - Rocky loses to Clubber Lang, then beats him in the rematch
Rocky IV - Apollo gets beaten to death by Drago, Rocky beats him
Rocky V - Rocky wins a street fight but loses at life
Rocky Balboa - Rocky loses to Mason Dixon
            Creed - Adonis loses
Creed II - Adonis loses, then wins

Rocky also killed off its entire supporting cast
Mickey Goldmill - died in Rocky III
Apollo Creed - died in Rocky IV
Adrian Balboa - died in between Rocky V and Rocky Balboa
Paulie Pennino - died in between Rocky Balboa and Creed
Tony Duke Evers - died in between Rocky Balboa and Creed

Rocky lost his wife, father figure/trainer/manager, best friend/brother-in-law, greatest rival, and second trainer/close friend.

It's a different vibe than the Rocky films so liking Rocky isn't necessarily going to mean you like Creed. Obviously they both exist in the same universe, but different abit somewhat similar vibes.

I've enjoyed both films so far & both are definitely better then the average boxing flick. Don't think I'd rank the first 2 above the first 2 Rocky's or anything but that's the highest hurdle to clear for a boxing film + sequel. Sh^t how many boxing films even make a sequel ffs. So the fact there is a 2nd Creed & talk of a 3rd suggests the overall opinion of the Creed series is very good.

Stallone is one of the most gangsta filmmakers imo. Writing about the stardom of a prospect yet reformed Loan Shark (like Avtandil Khurtsidze) to becoming a fictional Great to losing his son in REAL LIFE who acted in your films.. so fooking sad man...really tears me up tbh.

Stallone is a good writer imo. Dude is real and plays the part.
