Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson Expects Jamie Foxx To Do Awesome Job on Biopic

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson believes award-winning actor Jamie Foxx will do a very good job on the planned motion picture on Tyson's life. Foxx, now 52-years-old, would star in a biopic as the former undisputed heavyweight champion. Foxx, now 52-years-old, would star in a biopic as the youngest man to capture a heavyweight title. The project has had numerous delays and other issues that continued to put the film on the shelf.

    1. A 52 year old playing a 53 year old about his life when he was in his 20's? They better get the same crew that worked on Benjamin Button for the CGI

    2. Another reason for Foxx's ego to inflate............I liked him better when he was Wanda.

It's actually funny that many moons ago there was a little show called in living color where Foxx did the funniest impersonation of Tyson.

Foxx didn't convey the physicality of Tookie Williams in that film at all. I can't see him doing any better with Tyson. 60 pull ups ect aint gonna cut it so theyre gonna have to have him on a stack of steroids seldom seen outside the track and field scene.

This new Tyson movie will basically be a two hour long In Living Color skit. It might be a decent movie, but I could picture people laughing during the serious scenes. I can't take Jamie Foxx seriously.

I agree. Seems like a stretch to have a great comedian playing one of the most intimidating fighters of all time...

Even if he gets super jacked for this, his face just cracks me up.

You laughed during the "Ray" movie too when he played Ray Charles?
