most of us understand this....its all "relative"...a guy can still be called a "bum" in context with the understanding that same guy would kick our ass and has made more money in boxing than we ever have.....its relative....were fans and this is a forum.....its no different than us saying that a certain basketball player is not good or "sucks"...yes we know hes better than us at basketball but compared to the others that play(his peers) we may not think hes very good.....
GGG deserves a ton of respect! Why?

The difference is if you talk to boxers, managers, promoters, higher level boxing fans, analysts, in public or in private, they don't call fighters bums. They are not bottom feeder thinkers or dumb teenagers with an online account.most of us understand this....its all "relative"...a guy can still be called a "bum" in context with the understanding that same guy would kick our ass and has made more money in boxing than we ever have.....its relative....were fans and this is a forum.....its no different than us saying that a certain basketball player is not good or "sucks"...yes we know hes better than us at basketball but compared to the others that play(his peers) we may not think hes very good.....Comment

No! He got credit for title defenses with an underling belt, the same one Lara had. Career is essentially Mexican Style GGGimmick and riding off of Canelo's popularity. Modern day boxing fraud. DAZN execs should be executed for giving him 90 mil and equity with all the talent out there. He brings nothing to the table.Comment

Yeah who ever thought GGG at 35 was worth 6 fights for $100 million needs to be buried alive. No! He got credit for title defenses with an underling belt, the same one Lara had. I hate when idiots in here try to use canelos greatness to uplift the bum Golovkin... in the history of boxing, and not only boxing sports in general... the atg boxers and or teams have struggled at least once or more with mediocre opposition.. this isn’t exclusively canelo only... sure the fights were close with ggg, they mesh well but that doesn’t uplift ggg’s bum ass resume and finish canelos already hof resume you idiots... “well if ggg is a bum what does that make canelo since he couldn’t beat him blah blah” shut the phuck up! You mfing ggg fans are the most annoying phags
this is a good post
the current fanboy narrative is total bullshlt
the most accurate way to describe the first fight is... Golovkin could not beat Canelo... that is what happened
Golovkin was a supposed killer, and Golovkin was the red-hot favorite...
and yet, in 5 of those rounds ALL THREE JUDGES awarded those 5 rounds to Canelo... the rounds that Canelo won, HE WON BIG... he clearly won 5 rounds in that fight... and yet the rounds that Golovkin won were nip-n-tuck, very hard to score, and could have gone either way
anyone who understands the sport knows what happened
boxingscene.com scored that fight a draw... as did MANY others
and Canelo clearly won the rematch
so yea, hanging Golovkin's " greatness " on losing to a huge underdog is fkn hilarious... Golovkin beat Lemieux, not Canelo... and he barely sc****d past Danny Jacobs
like shadow often says... did the bookies laugh in your face when you turned up to collect your winnings because you "think" that Golovkin won???
so what if he pushed Canelo close in the first fight... he got the Mexican beaten out of him in the rematchComment

Oh, and why is GGG fighting Szermata?
Because that dude is a mandatory and they had already signed to fight.
But no, I guess Coronavirus is GGGs fault too right?
It's also GGGs fault that he wasnt old enough for Canelo to knock out either right? You should be loving the fact GGG isnt facing Canelo now.
Wait till hes older.
I mean, you already waited 3+ years because Canelo got into the ring with GGG. Then waited 2 more years because Canelo barely sc****d by. What's another year to fangirls like you?
because Szeremeta is a soft touch, and that is who Golovkin selects
FACT: Golovkin could simply fight someone better, or Canelo
you did not need to make that ridiculous excuse
no, wait... you did need to make that ridiculous excuse
just like the ridiculous excuses for Wade, Monroe, Vanes, etc...Comment

sure they dont...because they are whats known as "peers"...like i said...its all relative...i know guys arent literal "bums"....but there are levels of a competition..its ok for someone to have respect for all fighters yet still label some of them "bums"...its relative and in contextComment
