Comments Thread For: WBC Prez Stands Firm on Support For Fury-Wilder 3, Whyte Getting His Shot

World Boxing Council president Mauricio Sulaiman says Dillian Whyte has the right to enforce his mandatory shot. Whyte recently took legal action against the WBC to ensure that his mandatory shot will remain on course.

      Mauricio Sulaiman have spoken.

Dillian Whyte journey for the shot against the WBC champion still continue, but at this pace they going to gift him the WBC and Tyson Fury the WBC Franchise to stop this fiasco.

It’s funny how Whyte now “has the right” for a shot at the title, but when Al Haymon was greasing Sulaiman’s palms they did everything they could to delay it, including declaring two guys who weren’t ranked at number one as mandatory.

Let's hope it doesn't happen, because it's a meaningless match-up at this point. They've already fought twice, and the second fight wasn't even competitive.

Wilder couldn't beat a flabby, weakened version of Fury, and he was out classed by the fully fit version. Nobody needs to see that again when there are bigger, better fights lined up waiting to be made.

          The Fury/Wilder rivalry is over.

Time to consign it to history and move on.

            I agree..

Tbh, I doubt the money would be there now... OBS wilder views it as a chance for his belts back. But there's been nothing from him or his camp. Of course they dont have to release/say anything at this time because nothing is happening but usually he's the first to shouting from the rooftops if anyone farts in his direction...

Maybe Wilder has learned his lesson. Fury is the one doing the shouting now. Soon he too will learn his lesson. They say pride comes before fall. It's so true.

Glad wilder has that contract in place. Fury v Wilder III is happening and there is nothing the haters can do about it but snivel

I'd agree to a point. However it's not Wilders nature from past showing..

Now if he's took time out to recognise his past mistakes, let's see if he's also taking the time out to learn some boxing skills to make the fight (if it happens) a little more competitive..

Yep, I've noticed that too. Sulaimoney changed his tune since Whyte filed a lawsuit. Maybe others should do the same.
