Think about it, it's No coincidence...

He's retired because he's fed up of the lack of competition...

He's actually a great fighter, he was a pure technician. Was also the Lumpinee Stadium champion in Muay Thai which is its highest honour so he was at the top of the division in two combat sports and retired undefeated in boxing with 12 title defences against mostly top 10 caliber opposition. That's legendary. The Dwarf Giant lives up to his moniker, he is truly both a dwarf and a giant among men at once.

It’s a shame he’s retiring because I was hoping GBP would be able to get him some of those more meaningful fights or unifications.

          Enjoy retirement champ...
CP Freshmart has nothing on him, Menaytohin had title defences against mostly top 10 opponents. I don't think he's got a super padded record by Thai standards either. Before he even got the title he best Florante Condes who was up there in the divisional rankings and Ardin Diale who's been a perennial top 20 guy too. All of his defences were top 20 at the very least when he beat them. To me that is a very good career. The problem with his division is that the purses aren't big enough for guys to sacrifice two different sanctioning fees so unifications only really happen when there's a very popular fighter involved which is usually some Japanese fighters but that's about it. Unficiations are hard to get going at 105, they need the bigger purses there tbh they're still quality fighters worth watching.

At least he can say he fought a guy with 44 losses. I don't think anybody else can say that.
He's best friends with Freshmart and they both said they won't fight each other.

Would like to have seen this guy fight. You can't get to 54-0 without being something special.
Menayothin don't have any gift wins unlike floyd who was given a gift wins against castillo, maidana and pac, menayothin don't cherry pick and don't fight mma and kick boxer that's the difference between the two.

Get over it, put all of Menayothin‘s opponents together and they wont even comprare to one of mayweathers opponent. Put all 54 of his opponents and they wont get to ricky hatton, manny pacquiao, oscar de la hoya, shane mosley, diego corrales added up.
Jesus you're way too offended by another man's achievements. He beat some very good fighters so you'd be mistaken calling this guy a lesser champion. You don't make 12 defences of your title easily, beating one mandatory after another, I'll tell you that.

With those 54 wins did this guy make any money that he banked?
He was also a Muay Thai Lumpinee Stadium champ (equivalent of being a unified champ in boxing in terms of prestige). So I'd wager he made plenty of money between boxing and muay Thai, it's unprecedented he reached the top in both with no blemishes in boxing despite taking it up later in life. That's one scrappy little bastard I'll tell ya.
By the way give his highlights a watch, you'll take notice that he's a very good boxer with great defence and movement plus just fantastic combo punching. He had a lot going for him. One could learn plenty from his game, it's not like he was some bum who cherrypicked. He genuinely beat many top contenders.

I feel like Byron Rojas and Butriago are better wins than anything on Menayothin’s record. Up until his last 3 defences, Wanheng’s opposition was pretty poor IMO.

Obviously, it’s tough to get the meaningful fights in that division, I’m not accusing him of ducking people or any sh** like that.

Also, just going off the eye test, I’ve always felt CP Freshmart was the better fighter. There’s a video of them sparring out there, shame they never fought, they are close though, so fair enough.
