WBC minimumweight champion Wanheng Menayothin (54-0, 18 KOs) shocked his local fans when he took to social media to announce his retirement from the sport of boxing. Menayothin, who is 34-years-old, made his professional debut in 2007. Given his age it's extremely rare that he was able to remain in boxing's smallest weight class for his entire career.

No one with any sense would put his career anywhere near the same level as Floyd Mayweather's. Menayothin doesn't have a lot of big names on his resume.

But if he stays retired then he does officially hold the record now.

Get over it, put all of Menayothin‘s opponents together and they wont even comprare to one of mayweathers opponent. Put all 54 of his opponents and they wont get to ricky hatton, manny pacquiao, oscar de la hoya, shane mosley, diego corrales added up.
