I can only learn from you guys as far as picking winners is concerned.

I tend to overthink about how a fight might develop, and very often that is the quickest path to a wrong pick.

Indeed that is the problem, as I wrote before I never pick with my heart but become overly mental when I think about a fight ("It should go like this but perhaps, because of the X and Y factors, it will end going like that", etc.)

I'm 56 and into boxing since about 46 years ago, but started betting only recently. I also bet on soccer, and both there and in boxing I notice trends; there are periods where just everything seems to click and you win good, whereas in other occasions weeks pass by without getting a cent, even on the so-called easy picks...

Frustrating, to say the least.

To paraphrase your heroes, betting too much is a highway to hell.
