Serrano had agreed to the fight and was all ready to go.

She isn't the one who tried to change terms now and ask for pay cuts.

Show us where they tried to change the term and offer her a 50% pay cut. From day 1 she has had a problem with this fight. She has been making excuses AFTER excuses TILTHISDAY.

If they move the date due to covid she would claim she doesn’t want to fight anymore, she is doing the same exact thing that Wilder did with Joshua, trying to pretend she wants the fight and then using Taylor’s name to propel hers

Whatever happened to her going to MMA? Or wrestling? Or whatever she threatened to do? Just like her promoter said, they haven’t even discuss numbers with her here. But they are jumping already and claiming the fight is off.

Maybe you and others don’t realise but there IS a pandemic and everyone are sitting down and working things out to reflect what is actually going on. Soon she would blame Taylor for creating the pandemic to duck her and dumb “Boxing fans” who haven’t followed this story or her story with Taylor would jump on the bandwagon like they are doing here and believing everyone of her words.

No surprise. I called this months ago, that Taylor would find a way out of this fight. She's already been exposed as a hype job and another run of the mill euro bum. Taylor was in for a brutal battering but her cowardice prevailed in "negotiations".

I don't think either is, necessarily. Hearn and Serrano have been going back and forth about the purse for this fight for over a year. Sounds like the second Hearn said "pay cut" Serrano pulled the plug because she thought she was being underpaid as-is.

I also think Serrano is flexing on Hearn a little bit. If Hearn doesnt pay her, Taylor doesn't have a lot of options. Fight with Persoon is super risky. Personally I dont really rate Serrano and think she's the easier fight, so it would behoove Hearn to get the fight done.

Back in January, British media reported that Taylor was going to make her first million-dollar purse and that Serrano would make $250,000. Wonder if Serrano meant to say that she was making less than half of what Taylor was making, so that's why she thought a pay cut was unaccpetable.

Serrano made less than 100k against Hardy and apparently had never made more than 10k for a fight before that.

I don't know, man. $200k during this pandemic and DAZN being in a cash crunch is still a big payday for a female boxer. This is not the era to sit back and enjoy 100% of nothing, in my opinion.
