Been a fan of Kell from the first time I saw him destroy Kevin McIntyre (well worth a search on YouTube if you can spare 2 mins ) for the British WW title, a good 11-12 years ago. And I honestly believe a prime Brook beats any version of Crawford, when motivated and thoroughly prepared - he was that good.

Would have taken something very special to beat him back in 2014 against Porter, his timing was unreal. You could even see the shock and surprise on Porter's face as he was getting stunned time and again with stiff shots as he was bulldozing in.

Obviously he's no longer in his prime (age and injuries) nor is he a WW either. Though he did show signs that his timing's not totally gone by knocking out DeLuca (tough as boots if not much else) with a perfectly timed jab last time out. Although to be fair he was a bit of a shadow of his former self in that fight.

I've no interest in seeing him boil back down to 147, the scales will do most of Crawfords work for him and don't they know it. From a sporting perspective, it just ruins it for me - way too big a handicap.

Becoming a champion at 154 is no gimme but I'd much sooner him focus on that as opposed to coming across all desperate to Crawford who in reality is short on credible options himself.

Brook will quit just like Khan did then he will ask again for the Khan fight typical fighter looking for a payday he will do well for 3 rounds but the fifth be saying his eye socket gone again he should retire he is a shell of his former self

            Kell

Is Kell even good? Has he ever been good? Oh he beat porter like 10 years ago lol. This dude has showed me nothing since that fight. He had his moments with ggg and Spence but he lost.. plain and simple. He’s damaged goods.

Brooks gone now, well past his best.

if he was serious about a comeback it should be 154 rather than 147. The weight cut would butcher him.

Crawford must be getting desperate for opponents, which is a potty considering the talent he has

I would've put my money on the Brooks pre-Golovkin.

"He has not boxed at welterweight since a March 2016 title defense against Kevin Bizier . . . "

Spence beat him up at 147 in 2017, didn't he?

I've spared the 2 minutes. Indeed the counters and the timing were pretty nice. That being said, I won't go as far as saying that this version of Kell Brook beats Bud.

Bob trying to sell this fight. It is the type of fighter they like for Crawford. Big enough name where they have all the advantages.

All they care about is a fighter that will bring them the biggest payday with the lowest risks. If Ugas was with TR they would had built it up like a collision course and Arum would say that Ugas is the best cuban boxer they have ever seen.
