"Ugas wouldn’t cost as much but that fight wouldn’t mean as much."

Ugas is one of the top welterweights which he proved by beating Shawn Porter (but then got he robbed of the decision.) The guy means a hell of a lot more in that division than a shot Kell Brook who has been fighting at 154 lbs.

With Ugas you don't have to worry about if he can travel or not. And you don't have to worry about finding a lot of money for the purses.

He is the perfect opponent except for one thing...he wouldn't be easy work for Crawford. And Arum just wants another easy mismatch win for Bud.

This guy wants to make 147 a weight he last made 3 years ago and at that weight took its toll when he couldnt keep spence off as he was managing to give it a 50/50 fight till end of 7.. and then ultimately caved thereafter. He would be dead at that weight now, id say khan has a good chance of beating him at 147

Exactly. He couldn't be competitive at 147 three years ago. Add 3 years in age plus the inactivity and he has no chance at 147 against even moderate opposition, let alone Crawford. Even Khan beats him at 147.

Kell Brook is the biggest idiot in boxing ever.

                1. He was undefeated 147 IBF champ...and than fought middleweight champ GGG for a pay day and to impress Khan.

                2. He kept chasing Khan for years.

                3. After losing to Spence he kept fighting bums at 154. But still got his name on 154 rankings.

                4. Now he wants to fights Crawford at 147 instead off challenging 154 champs.

                This guy is amazing.

Use to think really highly of Crawford, but damn he’s resume is pure garbage. He might be top 10 pound for pound but he sure as hell ain’t pound for pound #1.
