Comments Thread For: Josh Taylor Eager To Return: I'm Getting a Wee Bit Itchy Hands

WBA, IBF junior welterweight champion Josh Taylor is getting a real itch to get back in the ring - and he doesn't care if the contest take place inside an empty arena. The 29-year-old boxer had been scheduled to fight last month, but his contest was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He could knock the Thai dude out in my back garden if he wants just to get it out the way. He's got no chance against Josh. It's all about Ramirez vs Postol and then swan up to 147 and kick up a storm with all these WW hiders.

Fantastic fighter Josh, but when he moves to 147 he'll be in the same boat as Crawford, which is to say the wrong one. I do favour him against Ramirez, FWIW, although it's not close to a sure thing, but I don't favour him against Bud... or not for another coupla years at least.

Taylor Vs Ramirez is the only fight that matter @ light- welter. Undisputed champions are a real rarity these days & it would be nice to see the #1 defend at least once or twice.

Taylor still on my top 10 p4p list!

He showed a lot in taking the 0 from the undefeated boogeyman of the division in Rougarou, in a classic fight that will be watched for years to come!

If he gets past his mandatory then Ramirez fight would be another instant classic as both men throw a lot of punches, and are tougher than an old boot!

If truth be told, you're quite correct. Bud is exceptional, Spence is extremely solid all round but give it, say, 18 months or whatever at 147 so he fills into the new weight, and with his height (5' 10'') and lightning hand speed, Taylor will be a night of hell for all of them. He's weight bullying right now at 140 and I think full welterweight will be Taylor's sweet spot

Bouncers of Scotland beware ... especially the big, gay, orange looking yins.
