Collard lets his hands go **** waiting around. Reminds me of Glen Johnson. These youngsters used to fighting at their own pace against opponents who have no real ambition to win.

Not to rain on your parade, but the dude went 1-3 in the UFC, and he got badly outboxed in two of those losses.

Collard has turned me into a fan, he’s always exciting and win, lose or draw he’s always going to give it his all!

How can you not approve of this guy? Doesn’t duck anyone and has constantly beaten against all odds because he’s usually fighting not only the fighter but the refs, judges and the promotions!
        Unreal...

Should change his name to Clay “Blue Collar” Collard with the way he just outworks nearly everyone he fights!

You know someone mentioned Joey Spencer and at first I thought it would be a bad idea for Spencer but now fûçk it!

These young cats think they’re tough shît and big bad wolves then let’s see them try to tango with The Blue Collar man himself and see what happens!

          Great fight.

Clay Collard is making a name of himself tackling and winning against boxers with undefeated record. Beutiful upset.

The fact it wasnt a unanimous win goes to show what's wrong with boxing's judges. Glad he got the win but it's sad he had to settle for a split decision. This dude can scrap for sure.

I created a forum about Collard around September of last year, I’ve been following his run since he began fighting rapidly against prospects in the first half of 2019. As tough & rugged Collard is, this level of excellence is beyond surprising to me! I figured he’d be giving prospects the ultimate test but this amount of success he’s having is simply amazing.

Lol Collards my boy I was rooting for him to win just because they brought him in there with probably little preparation to obviously lose and make Kaminsky look good. Crazy this guy in his last 3 fights fought an undefeated fighter at 147 beat him, fought another undefeated fighter at 160 and beat him, and finally jumped up one more division to face another undefeated fighter and beat him up too haha.

To be fair Collard is a little dirty although I don't think it is on purpose fighting back and forth between MMA and Boxing will do that he rushes forward in a straight line with his head forward similar to how they do in MMA but he should have been warned a few times for headbutts because he did hit Kaminsky with a few especially under his right eye that swelling and cut was a result of that. The cut on the side of his left eye was a clean punch along with his busted up mouth he was taking a lot of clean punches how one of the judges had him up 2 rounds is beyond me.

The first fighter that knows how to use angles and counter is going to put Collard to sleep but until then if he keeps fighting these guys that want to trade with him I think his conditioning is pretty good and he is going to just keep throwing punches and possibly upset a lot of these younger fighters.

Why do guys like you always do this just admit some mma fighters have good enough hands to beat some boxers. This dude has no amateur background and was an mma fighter way before boxing so even if he boxed at 10 it was probably casually. Guys like you always try to save face when a guy who didnt start out boxing wins just be happy he can entertain, not cherry pick and brings action pact fight.

That's exactly it. Until he fights a fighter that uses angles or is a counter puncher with serious pop, these fighters don't seem to know how to keep him off them. The fact that he gets in close and then just starts throwing uppercuts, hooks, straights, whatever, makes it difficult up close. Once you get a sniper type fighter who can punish him and keep him moving, it'll be Clay's kryptonite. For now though I'm loving his run.

Let's not forget these these are young guys he's facing while he's already like 33-34 so he's kind of old for boxing years. The fact that he is most likely been sent in as a sacrificial lamb for all these undefeated guys and giving them hell, taking that "0" away, is more than anyone could ask of him.

Yup he just smothers guys on the inside and they all seem lost or trying to prove something by loading up on shots thinking they are going to get him out of there leaving them open to flurries.

Those punches might not be haymakers but they still land clean and can bust you up. Like you said he has experience over these younger guys and had an amateur boxing career as well so he's not clueless in there hope he continues to get some decent paydays so far the fights have been pretty fun to watch. I could see him being lined up to fight somebody like Diego Pacheco I don't think he's tied to any promoter maybe TR has options on him now though.
