Jose Pedraza and Mikkel LesPierre tested negative for COVID-19 in the buildup toward their ESPN main event Thursday night. BoxingScene has learned that someone in LesPierre's camp tested positive, however, which led to the Nevada State Athletic Commission canceling their main event Thursday morning. In accordance with safety protocols established by the NSAC and Bob Arum's Top Rank Inc., the promoter of ESPN's shows this month in Las Vegas, fights must be at least postponed if someone within a fighter's camp tests positive for COVID-19.

I didn't read the article, but why the hell can they not pull out the positive dude if everyone else is testing negative? That makes no sense to me. Doesn't everyone that enters the bubble get tested? So that's fine, let everyone who hasn't tested positive enter it.

Are they saying that because you were with someone who tested positive and you haven't yet means you can still have it and it just hasn't triggered a positive result yet?

If that's so, that means everyone entering the bubble that tested negative could in fact have it and we don't now yet. Wth.
