I understand why he resigned with TR. He did what was financially best for him and his family, I presume. Can't knock him for that. If anything, he's more familiar with Top Rank and I personally wouldn't break my neck to sign with another company to "give the fans what they want".

I'm only saying this because of what Derrick James has been echoing for months now. Money. Suddenly, Spence is worth so much more now and James is making it seem as though both networks aren't gonna recoup money if the fight happens...essentially saying that Crawford isn't a draw.

Draw or not, at this point, Crawford was champ at 135, undisputed at 140 and a current titleholder at 147...those credentials along with what Spence has accomplished is enough for all parties to make a fight that everybody's been wanting to see.

James is making it seem as though Bud's done NOTHING in the sport, when in fact people have been mentioned him in welterweight matchups before he even moved up. Again, this is a fight we all want to see but I don't believe it's solely up to Terence to make such a big business move in signing with PBC or something crazy like that, just to make it happen.

Frankly, I'm tired of Spence and a lot of these other PBC guys acting as though signing to Haymon is the best move in life and others have to "come to them". It's crazy. It's immature and senseless. Most PBC fighters are comfortable fighting nobodies as most accuse Terence of doing. Irony?

You just described a lot of Haymon fighters...and I actually like Haymon fighters.

A lot of them are comfortable fighting soft touches, but I'm only okay with that if guys are active (e.g. fights 2-3 times a year).

I'm just starting to get pissed at that smug look on Spence's face when asked about the Crawford fight. It's just old at this point.

You might mean that they offered Danny a lucrative deal but went and fought Khan instead. That was a smoke screen deal because the flak that Crawford and camp was taking because they were going to try and face Luis Collazo.

It was fine for PBC fighters to fight against Crawford on ESPN at 140...but not at 147. What does that tell you?

He's half right, but it's the other way around, Crawford can't avoid the WW division forever. Or who knows maybe he can.

Don't worry, Bud, forget all those bums in hiding because once Josh Taylor becomes undisputed king at 140 he'll come up to WW and knock your azz out in Omaha if you want. The fight will be easy to make

He couldn't even get the big fights on his own side of the street.

When Arum couldn't get him Pacquiao, while they were under the same umbrella, that should have been a tell tale sign.

Brook is out there. What's the hold up?

All this hype around Crawford like he's some boogeyman. He'll be 33 in September. Who has he beaten?

Can anybody name and show one time that Terence Duckford has told Arum to stop his rants and make the Spence fight ? All he says is that he wants it.

Regardless of Crawford resigning with Arum.

He only started to call out Spence very very late in the game. Was not interested in fighting him. Happy with fighitng easier opponents. Its his responsibility to cal out and shame fighters.

Ultimately, both Crawford and Spence have missed their chance to be truly great fighters, who will be remembered. Waste of careers.

Spence isnt much better, caling out every welter except for Crawford. I think Spence wants to fight him even less than Crawford wants to fight him. They missed their opportunities to realy take the sport by storm.

This is why UFC is taking over boxing. Why would you watch a sport where the best matchups commonly never happen? Boxing has just become a complete joke. Garbage fight after garbage fight.
