Nor me, really. But sometimes a strong leader is necessary, and that was definitely the case in 1940 when Churchill took over from Chamberlain as Prime Minister, abandoned the policies of appeasement and containment, and committed Britain to all out war against the ****s, with one aim only .. "Victory, victory at all costs!"

As a UK boxing fan, I thank Tyson for saving the country's reputation in front of our American friends after Joshua sullied it by getting KTFO by a morbidly obese man.
While I can't blame you for admiring your countryman. I'd say fury toppled America- not conquered. It'll be decided after the trilogy is over whether he conquered America.

I think that A.J could have a exhibition match against Tony Thompson in a bowling alley and sell double that, without any promotion.
What you DON'T remember is Eddie buying up all the tickets and. re-selling them on the secondary market to a primarily british crowd. What was the point of coming to America if you're just selling tickets to brits? Brits have always been gullible.

Fury was, and still is, trying to undermine and rattle AJ by whatever means he can. It's part of the psychological warfare he always wages against his rivals.

Personally, I blame Wilder's team for the unification fight with AJ not happening. But you can bet your life that Fury will take the opposite view and use it to attack AJ and put him under pressure.

Yes, Brits are gullible. But the Brits love Anthony Joshua more than Tyson Fury. Even if Eddie hustled 8,000 of his Englishmen, there were 12,000 more seats to be sold. That means A.J sold 4x's Tyson's measly 3,577 for Otto Wallin.

Without the 'Bronze-Bomber' Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury will struggle at the gates, but Joshua can find a last minute replacement and sell-out arenas.

You're living in the past son, I'm talking about right now, and right now Fury is the king of boxing, and I don't see AJ reclaiming the throne.

You missed the point- Brits didn't buy 8,000 tickets- they bought most of the tickets. That was damn near a 90% british crowd.

Now if what you're saying is that AJ can draw a british crowd to come to America while Fury can't- I'll disagree based on the grounds that AJ was a champ at the time while Fury was not a champ.
Now that Fury is a champion I'm sure the brits will flock to America by the droves for his fights. Difference being Arum won't buy out all the tickets at the venue- then resell them to brits. So the ticket buys will be 5x more honest. Thats what I meant by brits are gullible.
