Wilder has very fast hand speed. He's a freak athlete. He's explosive. Fast. Powerful.
Just that in his last few fights he stopped "boxing" and started focusing more on just knocking out the guy. Not bad until it doesn't work. Mike Tyson is the Greatest Marketed aka Promoted fighter of all time. Not as good as old timers remember him, not good as the unassuming youth (myself at a time) were brainwashed into thinking he was...he'd get starched by Wilder. Fury is a freak athlete himself, and the only capable of doing that to Wilder. Fury is a giant amongst giants. Wilder being the lightest guy at the elite level was always susceptible top being weight bullied. And it happened.

For pure hand speed and straight right hand punching power I think he is right up there with them. He does not have their skill, accuracy, combinations, footwork or defense.

Andy Ruiz Jr has got pretty fast hand in today's HW era.
I was thinking the same thing, especially when he follows up with the left hook using it as the last punch in his combination. He decievingly has fast hands, even though he punches upwards with them usually.

Wilder needs to utilize his speed more often in combinations and tighten up his punches and not slap!

I feel if he can tighten and sharpen up his hooks when he finally goes to the body, he could get some nasty body shot KO’s!

His speed is near elite I would say

I can barely understand half of what you're saying and trust me, it's not me.

flicking a punch out with 84 inch reach will land before a guy with 81 inch if they throw at the same angle and distance.
Ohh now I see what the problem is. You're dumb. That's what it is.

We're talking full punches kid. Not "flicking out your fist to see who lands the tap first".
