Silly odds alert: Dubois - 400 over Joyce

So William Hill are offering Dubois at - 400 and Joyce is a +300 underdog.

This is ****** odds imo of an overhyped fighter in Dubois.

I think this should be virtually an even money match up, because to be honest we don't even know if Dubois is any good yet, his best win is Gorman, and who's he????

Joyce, yes he's slow, but he's effective, he's the bigger man, he has a wealth of amateur experience having fought Usyk, Hrgovic, the French guy I forget his name, but he's been in with the best amateurs of the last decade and been right amongst it.

Point is we know Joyce can fight, we know he's near enough a top 10 guy currently who would be at least a decent opponent for anyone in the division and we know nothing about Dubois who is totally untested amateur or pro.

Anyway at those odds I'll be having a bet on Joyce who I think has been undervalued massively there.

Put it this way, you get better odds on Joyce than you do Wilder vs Fury 3

That may all be true and the odds are a bit wide, i think 8/13 or 1/2 would be reasonable. But considering joyce has zero defence and punches underwater the chances that he will be able to eat huge shots from dubois all night without getting slept is pretty slim imo

Cheers for heads up. Tbh I haven't looked/kept eye on odds of this bout. It seems to have been on public backburner...

Crazy odds, said all along I'm Intrigued to how DD comes into the HW fold and hoping if he follows his hype to mix the HW division up.. but with those odds my money would have to be on that as I've no affiliation to any of them..

It is up to Joyce to prove the oddsmakers wrong. This a great chance for him to really advance his career.

Odds seem about right to me.

Joyce is way too stiff and blocks punches with his face that's not to say he can't take Dubious into deep waters and drown him but its pretty unlikely imo

Dubious is only getting better, Joyce certainly isn't.

I think Dubois will win as well, but he's still a bit untested and Joyce is a tank, maybe he could take Daniel to deep waters?

It's worth a few quid on Joyce if the odds are right.
