Thurman, Danny, Porter and Ugas lost CLOSE, competitive fights that could have gone either way. Thurman in particular.

Khan was damn near stopped by a bum the fight prior, before that, almost lost his soul thanks to Carnelo.

It doesn't change the notion that the * will still apply if and whenever Crawford would fight those guys. The thing is, ALL those guys with Al aren't looking to fight Crawford..AT ALL. Practically everyone there outside of Spence has been very dismissive about fighting Crawford because they know Al can position them in other fights within the Umbrella that would likely pay them close to or just about what they'd make fighting Crawford. They don't care that Crawford holds a World Title and is P4P Top 5. As long as the check clears, they're good. Spence is the only one that legit wants to fight Crawford but even he's now expecting to wait for the fight to build ala Mayweather vs Pac which that fight will NEVER be. I'm optimistic it inevitably gets made but truly believe neither Danny, Thurman, or Porter will fight him prior. I hope I'm wrong but history in recent years has said otherwise. These guys want to get paid and they deserve the paydays but I don't sense the eagerness for most of these guys to be great more so than building their investment portfolios.

Because there's a difference between fighting a guy who lost a very close, competitive fight with Manny Pacquiao and fighting a guy who almost got sparked out in the fight prior (Khan).

From a RISK and THREAT perspective, even in loss, all of those guys are a threat to Crawford, specifically because he has never fought any of the A-tier before. He's untested.

I know his fans don't want to hear that, but it's true.
