The sad reality is that's probably the fight we will see

The fight to make @ 147 is Crawford vs Spence.
      Everybody knows this.

If Spence's team doesn't want it...looking at others:
      1. Crawford gets nothing out of beating old but good Pacquiao

      2. Not a bad fight but Crawford and Porter are friends
There should be plenty of others to fight

      3. After GGG (and maybe Spence) Kell Brook is shot and in the wrong weight class. Crawford gets nothing out this win.

      4. Thurman - is the only decent choice for Crawford

      5. Ugas - Honestly, haven't even seen him fight.
      Can't comment.

You missed the memo where Spence's team keeps making excuses,
while Crawford keeps asking for the fight.

Bob Arum understands that his guy has not earned a Spence fight because he has not beaten a quality opponent without an asterisk.

Bob Arum understands how the game works.

His guy has to beat some MF'n body. With NO asterisk. A threat.

THEN we can start talking about Spence.

Unfortunately, if Brook is chosen, it's already an asterisk if he wins, because Brook was heavily damaged. Should Arum's guy lose to or even struggle with Brook he might as well retire.
Judging by your 'asterisk' logic, Spence doesn't deserve to fight Crawford either...

I had a feeling the Pac talk was all BS.

MANILA, Philippines — Manny Pacquiao said he did not discuss any plans about running for president with his former longtime promoter Bob Arum. Pacquiao’s comments came after Arum told WBC

The 41-year-old Pacquiao, though, stressed the only discussion he had with Arum was about a potential showdown with Terence Crawford, the undefeated WBO welterweight titleholder.

"“Yes, we discussed the fight against Terence Crawford. Wala namang problema, maganda ‘yun (There’s no problem with that, it’s going to be a good fight),” he said

Haha you could say this about the entire division then. I'm a big Crawford fan but this is not an issue with Spence. Nobody wants to work with Bob so Crawford hasn't fought anybody in the weight class.

Crawford openly ducked the guy that Spence last defended his belt against. So

One day Porter is saying "I'll fight Crawford", the following week he's using the "FOX / ESPN" excuse. In order for these guys to fight they have to do joint PPVs and I don't know if Crawford vs Thurman, Danny, or Porter are going to be HUGE outings for Al and Bob to sit and work out a deal outside of the Spence fight. The same * he'll get beating Brook unfortunately would show up in potential fights with Porter, Thurman or Danny who ALL have lost already so it's a Damn if you Do, Damn if you Don't scenario. Truth is, none of those guys want to fight Crawford. It's pretty obvious. The only guy outside of Spence who I think would be up to it is Ugas, but not even Spence wants to fight him so...Back to Square 1.
Thurman, Danny, Porter and Ugas lost CLOSE, competitive fights that could have gone either way. Thurman in particular.

Khan was damn near stopped by a bum the fight prior, before that, almost lost his soul thanks to Carnelo.

Sounds like Timur78 needs to do some research.
