Golovkin vs Derevyanchenko wasn't a robbery

Just rewatched it. A Golovkin win is totally possible and I scored it for him.

Love rewatching fights that made people cry.......

I scored it 116-111 Derevyanchenko but I think it could have easily been 114-113 on my card.

    So I can’t really complain.

Easier to see how much Golovkin was catching or blocking on his forearms on a rewatch. I scored it Golovkin too, though I wouldn't have had a huge issue if Sergiy had taken it by a point.

I also scored it for Golovkin but I could have swung it to Derevyanchenko too. Close, close fight with some very close rounds.

Yes, Derevyanchenko was super busy and gave Golovkin all he could handle. G didn't like those angles just as much as those body shots I think

I think volume is always gonna look good against Golovkin, he tends to tuck and block the most harmful incoming but cos the leather's still landing it doesn't look good. Basically he hasn't looked great against anyone who's been able to keep throwing in volume starting with Ouma. Can't be certain but I think Rozier might have picked up on this and worked both Danny and Sergiy's strategy accordingly.

The GGG haters are heavy on this board and will jump at any chance to trash him. According the his worst haters he lost any fight that he didn't win by KO. Dervy is a hell of a fighter and I don't think any middleweight wants to fight him after his great performance against GGG. It was wonderful close war.

I agree, first Canelo fight aside, being able to stand your ground in the middle and throw with volume is key vs GGG especially since GGG rarely counters mid combination.

                  Very very close fight
But I did have GGG ahead
Those shots to the body that GGG took , were very close to getting him ko’d
And cause of them , you can see a decline in him countering , becoming slower and slower
