I like the fight, but looks like the handlers wanna try and take out a different champs ... which would make this fight a lot bigger (I don't like that strategy and I'm just guessing).

If Plant managed to take out Sanders, and Benavidez took out Smith, this fight would be huge. I don't see that happening but ...

Same sentiments. David's power, speed, and pressure top notch. But Plant has the ring IQ, the footwork, the jab. It'll definitely be a great one. But I see it going the distance to Plant.

I mostly agree except that Benavidez is explosive and long = dangerous. Plant will have to find a way to damage him to go the distance.

People just love to hate man. Especially when a fighter they cherish is involved + their knowledge on the sport is extremely limited.

Good points. One thing I did notice that everyone is overlooking is that Benevidez relies way too much on his power and as such leaves himself wide open to counters constantly. He hasn’t yet faced a good counter punchers. Unfortunately for him, Plant is an elite counter puncher and is one of the purest boxers in the game today. When you swing at air and get countered back that begins to wear on a boxer who relies solely on his power to end fights.

Benavidez i feel has more layers to his game than plant does. Either way this fight needs to happen!
