But Margarito has the better scalps on his record.

    I would say Margarito.
I say this but I think GGG is almost there. Just needs a couple of high profile wins.

That's the problem with obsessing with keeping undefeated records. And when you do get an L, your stock immediately drops. A couple of fights here and there and BOOM! You realize you're 38 and the mystique disappears.

          Told Froch 166lbs

          Lost to Dereyanchenko
          Lost to Canelo

          Cherrypicker at its finest.
so now you are changing it from he was a cherry picker to they were old? wow that fell apart fast for you didnt it? martinez was the champ does ggg control his age? sturm was about 30 and on the best run of his career when he refused to fight ggg. old?

lara? do some research please. "Lara commands a lot of money so I cant say the fight will be simple to make. We got to make more money than what he's made in the past for Golovkin."

lara priced himself out simple as that. lara wanted more money to fight ggg than to fight canelo? please. non starter not to mention they werent in the same division nor on the same network. lara told everyone no by saying that. you just spun it into something completely different.

charlo? ggg went to dazn. charlo is on pbc and refused to go to dazn. how is that cherry picking? he went where the money and canelo were.

ward? he tried to fight ward in 2013 and ward said no and tried to fight sartison and pavlik. why do you always leave that part out? later he came back with 164 and? he still tried to fight him. the only legit time either of those guys wanted to fight was in 2013 and ward didnt want to. wards offer in 2015 was not legit and gggs 164 offer was not legit. ward hadnt fought at 168 since 2013. lets stop pretending like that fight was a realistic possibility.

froch? well it took froch 5 years to say ggg wanted to fight at 166 so not sure why you automatically believe him after 5 years of silence. maybe its true but even if it is true so? he still tried to fight him. are you saying catchweights are for cherry pickers? well then you admit floyd cherry picked canelo then. good to know. i dont consider a ggg-froch fight at 166 a cherry pick. froch at 166 is still better than almost anyone at 160 so i think you have lost all sense of the meaning of words here.

yeah trying to fight everyone in your division doesn't sound like cherry picking to me at all. sounds like sour g****s from a poster who is used to hearing his favs cherry pick. i would never say someone is cherry picking because he didnt move up in weight. thats really silly and reaching, not to menton not true when it comes to this particular case

floyd and marg will always be linked and i was using an example of what actual cherry picking is. sorry to ofend you. floyd just happened to be the subject. when floyd fought sharmba for 4 million instead of #1 ranked marg for 7 and then judah coming off a loss instead of marg, that is a clear cherry pick. ggg not fighting some guy in a completely different division when they dont even want to fight him anyway and make ****** demands is not a cherry pick. its fantasy.

He has won over 90 percent of his fights by kO. He has never bean knocked down and at age 38 he is still a middleweight champion. Wow, a ice cream sandwich compared to a **** sandwich eh? That's the funniest metaphor I've ever heard on this forum!

Wtf? Is this some kind of joke thread? Ggg is a first ballet hall of famer who was a top 5 p4p fighter his whole career even in his late 30's. Margarito got his beat everytime he stepped up to the elite level. Mosley destroyed him and little manny ended his career. Lmao.

Margarito was a first face plodder.

Both GGG and Margarito block punches with their face while trudging forward like turtles.

Difference is, Margarito actually fought better competition.

                      Golovkin face looked like a s h i t sandwich vs Deryvchenko.
