He certainly didn't beat the same version, Wlad had been out of the ring for 2 years and was 41 years old, and AJ had the hometown advantage.
It's easy to call Wilder rubbish in hindsight, but he was the favourite against Fury in both fights and most of the people on here calling him rubbish picked him to spark Fury out.
Wilder was an unbeaten 5yr champion, tied for title defences with Ali.
Joshua has never beaten a legitimate champion, he's beaten belt holders, that's it.Comment

Whyte has no one to blame but himself. He turned down a megafight with AJ last year. And so it begins. I told all of you that Fury is a fraud. You all supported Wilder ducking Whyte until you found out the real reason he ducked him...because he was a fraud all this time. Fury is running the same game now. And you idiots can say that Whyte is not that good or should wait but he's waited 3 years and by February it'll be 4 years for his shot. A real champ fights all comers. And before you argue, please tell me how Wallin, Sereri and Pianetta deserve a fight before Whyte does. Exactly.Comment

Hometown advantage is a fair point, but I feel the inactivity is being exaggerated a bit.He certainly didn't beat the same version, Wlad had been out of the ring for 2 years and was 41 years old, and AJ had the hometown advantage.

We know Klitschko was in training for a Fury rematch and that he's not one TPP get out of shape between fights.
If he was washed up for Joshua you'd have to say the same for Fury based on his previous showing against Jennings.
Parker was an unbeaten champion and a current top ten for most people.
Propping up Wilder as some kind of great is unnecessary to say the the least.Comment

I'm not saying he was washed up, i agree that Wlad was a professional who was always in shape, however he didn't become a better version in that time, if anything he declined slightly and Fury's win over him was far more impressive, if less entertaining.Hometown advantage is a fair point, but I feel the inactivity is being exaggerated a bit.

I'm not propping Wilder up as a great either, but he was still an unbeaten champion, and many boxing experts and publications had him as #1 in the world.
Who had Parker beaten before he faced AJ? Oh yeah, Ruiz, the same guy who knocked AJ out 12 months ago lol.Comment

Fury cannot avoid this fight unless he fights A.J , so i'll take the A.J fight an Whyte can wait a little longer where he had turned down A.J last year ,the real boogeyman everyone but Usyk has avoided with title shots coming up .Comment

As far as I can see, Wilder and Parker have beaten one world class opponent apiece.I'm not saying he was washed up, i agree that Wlad was a professional who was always in shape, however he didn't become a better version in that time, if anything he declined slightly and Fury's win over him was far more impressive, if less entertaining.

If you support Fury and his cowardice, and yet you vilify Bowe for dropping the belt, then you are a complete hypocrite. If it's such an easy fight then Fury would have no problem fighting Whyte just like he fought Wallin, Seferi and the rest of the bums on his resume other than an old Klitschko and an overrated Wilder.Comment

Cool breeze? Nah. He doesn't have the speed or head movement to get away from Whyte's haymakers. Chances are he would get taken out by an overhand hook sooner or later, unless of course Whyte comes into the fight grossly overweight, wherein Breezy may have a chance.Comment
