Fury-Joshua is going to be all about race. Awesome.

Now that Anthony Joshua is being criticized for being black and trying to support his community (and with everything else happening in the world), it’s becoming very clear to me that Fury-Joshua is going to be way more about race than it should be or ever was going to be.

I find this to be incredibly disappointing.

Does anyone else get a similar feeling?

People on both sides always try this sh**.

The best thing to do is just ignore it and don’t give it any traction.

To me it’ll just be about two fighters fighting for the HW title.

Anthony Joshua will thrive off this environment but? Tyson Fury is going to be grouped with people who 'He is also fighting against'.

For the large majority of his career, Tyson Fury was mocked and made out to be a clown by large sections of the UK 'Purely based on his gypsy heritage, that same demographic is now apparently apart of his fan-base'.

Tyson Fury deep down knows most of his UK based fans are completely hypocrites 'It is the culture of the country, Fury just like Joshua will be popular until he steps out of line'.

Tyson Fury is going to now be wrongly associated, with hypocritical weak *****bags.

Fury was **** on his whole career in the UK for being a gypsy. Will be funny if they try to make it about race.

I seriously doubt it could be any worse than the Wilder thing. And luckily for us Fury knows how to diffuse the situation and I’m sure Joshua won’t make it about race

You're worrying about nothing. AJ has never talked about race in connection with boxing before and he won't start doing it now. Why would he, and risk alienating his sponsors and the majority of his own fan base?

Fury isn't going to go there either. He refused to talk about racial issues before the Wilder fight, and I'm sure he'll stick to that policy.

Well if everyone is supposed to support their own community then that is the literal meaning of racism.

Racism = giving people preferentrial treatment based on physical attributes. Racism = segregating groups by ethnicity.

If you find it "incredibly dissappointing" then don't sign up for the BS that you should support someone because he's black and question what the *** he is about to decide whether you should support him or not. So many people want to stop racism but they don't feel they should also have to make sacrifices it's only everyone else.

That's not true at all. You can't really comment if you live in Canada.

He was unpopular because of all the other stuff he said about women, transexuals and ***s. Then becoming a 6ft 9" pile of waste after beating Wlad was like gold for the tabloids.

He's been targeted by Irish Media since his comeback too.

I can't stand Tyson Fury but its not because he's a gypsy.

Fury cant play the race angle. A white man cant publicly say hes proud to be white let alone a massive celebrity figure.

Joshua however can go on as many black power rants as he wants in the lead up to the fight with zero backlash.
