So you don't think the dehumanisation of human beings and comparing them to animals is horrible/problematic? There lies the problem and one of the reasons why they're protesting due to your insensitivity. If you think people of a different colour are monkeys, subconsciously it would be normal to treat them like animals and deny them certain opportunities they have earned.

It's no different from how upperclass Brits and British nobility treat working class Brits. So why is there so much anger amongst Northerners against the British elites? A lot of Northerners didn't forgive Lady Thatcher for how she treated them. If Northerners can be perpetually angry because of that - those treated unfairly because of their colour also have a right to be angry.

The country is already divided between Northerners and Southerners and also along class lines. A lot of people protesting are also middle class white people and students. And it has been mostly peaceful from what I've seen apart from what happened in Bristol.
