According to Nielsen Media Research figures released Wednesday, Top Rank's 3-hour telecast on ESPN was watched by an average of 397,000 viewers. The five-fight show drew a peak audience of 609,000 sometime between 10-10:15 p.m. ET, during the main event, in which Shakur Stevenson knocked out Felix Caraballo in the sixth round at MGM Grand Conference Center.

It's nice to have boxing back, but all these cards that Top Rank is putting on this week are nothing but mismatches. Even with no sports, mismatches are mismatches and people are not going to watch even if there is nothing else on.Comment

Nice to know you focused more on testing protocols instead of good fight cards!
But hey... I'm happy boxing is back. Things will get better, but I'm not sure how these bad cards affect the opinions of the casuals. Boxing does a horrible job of building up name recognition. Casuals had no idea who any of these fighters were.
To them it was just a bunch of randoms fighting. No meaning, no importance.Comment
