This is his first fight now that he has hit world champ milesstone on his contract so his pay just tripled because that's what his contract guarantees him if he becomes world champ. Ryan making 200K before a title eliminator if fights a top 10 guy like Linares or title eliminator his contract probably guarantees half a mil, if he becomes world champ likely guaranteed 1M that's how these contracts work.
