Not sure if the DEADZONE is going to make it in the USA. They’ve lost at least 30% of the subscriber base. Furloughs, looking for investors, reports of being on sale.....when is this Eddie Hearn takeover of American boxing supposed to happen? Did I miss it?

They might drop boxing all together while they focus on getting other major sports rights. Look at what's happened since March. It's like they really dont care. No press releases keeping fans informed. Ignoring fans about their subscriptions. Taking out money after people have already paused their subscriptions. Lowballing Ryan Garcia. I think they're tired of boxing to be honest

Ryan can get at least 80,000 subs and that's over a million and a half dollars. I think you all just dont like Ryan and that's your problem.
He doesn't want that much for this tune up
Obviously Golden Boy and DAZN do NOT think he is worth 400k, or he would be getting it.......

That's just 80k, a low number. With all the subscriptions they've lost you don't think he can bring in at least 80k subs? These are very low numbers im using to illustrate my point.

Ryan have to become World Champion or something, he has all these high expectations and I like Ryan Garcia he has the Look and the Social Media following of a Superstar BUT he haven't done much in the ring yet. That could be GBP fault though, maybe they need to give him what he wants and put him in tough and put him in for a World Championship
Also too, I do think fighting exclusively on DAZN hurts him more than it helps him because DAZN Paid Subscription Audience is just way too Limited. His Generation are very Tech Savvy so they can find Free Links so easily so they're less likely to subscribe to DAZN just for 1 Fight

This kid has an over inflated sense of worth... none of the top earners have complained in the manner that he has. DAZN is in a precarious situation in which they’ve over leveraged themselves and are hemorrhaging money and subscribers since the pandemic. Most people who’ve paid for an annual subscription for boxing have not renewed, so revenue is nil. Not sure who will sign up again to see Garcia, his fan base is comprised of casuals or kids so it won’t translate to subscriber retention. He’s a better draw when you can have a live gate. DAZN will need to bring out bigger names to create a trickle effect to their B level stars

DAZN continues its downward roll! Skipper and his crew keep making serious mistakes. This includes setting high monetary expectations by overpaying some fighters, including Golovkin and some Youtube boxers, but that is the least of their problems.
As an aside, rather than offering a fixed reward to fighters like Garcia, perhaps they should offer a base minimum and sliding scale reward based on actual revenues. That would give fighters an incentive to promote the fight and more importantly have a stake in the financial health of DAZN.
