Spence with the preemptive duck move. Dismissing Ugas before anyone starts asking for the fight. This is an advanced 4d chess move in ducking. Im surprised Crawford hasnt used it yet too, but even saying Ugas name would be high risk because he normally fights Lyft drivers so he cant say hes looking at bigger names than Ugas.
Spot on!
Ugas might be the new bogey man at 147.
They are saying "yea but".
Yordenis Ugas no... Campo yes. Ugas isn't well known because you ducked him. Proof that signing with the PBC guarantees nothing.
Lol, you're so desperate and pathetic.
Didn't Ugas get a shot at the wbc crown against Shawn Porter? What did he do with that?
What has he done to get himself back in the picture since the loss except for literally sit on his ass and fight no one instead of trying to get himself into another mandatory position.
Guess the Porter fight took alot out of him then you possies care to admit. He was super active before the Porter fight, but didn't call out anyone since then.
lol he is doing what he accused thurman of. remember when keith was saying spence needed to become a name? (or something similar along those lines)
in the end, hey are all the same.
Spence didn't say that. He said he is willing to turn around and fight Ugas if the fight comes his way but he ain't gonna call out Ugas because there are bigger fish to fry.
All of the “boogeymen” always go the same route. And you can’t blame them but they expose all of the fan double standards. Keith Thurman got hell from the PBC crowd for instead fighting Porter, Garcia, and Pacquiao. And now Spence is looking for the bigger fights as well. Of course Garcia is a better fight for Spence, Ugas is just as dangerous but much less reward. But I don’t expect the spence fans to turn on him the way they did Thurman.
You do realise that Thurman wasn't even a champion yet when he started ducking Spence don't you?
Spence started calling out Thurman is 2015. In 2015 Mayweather held the wbc and wba belts, and Pacquiao held the wbo before he lost it to Mayweather.
Thurman only became champion in 2016 after Floyd retired.
However, he was making the excuse that Spence is not on his level in 2015, when neither of them were champions and Thurman's biggest win was a washed up Robert Guerrero.
This is not the same thing at all.
Spence is a unfied champion with limited time in the division because of his weight.
He can't afford to fight everyone because he doesn't have the time.
He wants to shortest route to unification so that he can move up.

And we can all agree he’s improved massively no? Enough to arguably beat Shawn Porter.
But he did not beat Shawn Porter. I was really disappointed too, because I like Ugas, but he did not seal the deal! I do think he deserves a rematch with Shawn Porter, and I hope the WBA enforces the order for Ugas vs. Bes*****, but he does not deserve another WBC title shot just yet.
You would rather be a Spence boy , is that what your saying ?, Hey listen up, Spence has got enough protection going on already, don't need no extra protection from another FAN BOY TRUST THAT.
I like Ugas, and I would hope Porter would give him a rematch, but Danny Garcia is up next, unless Pacquiao wants that work! Let's not act like Ugas is the boogeyman here. He has 4 losses and just lost to Porter in a title fight just last year! The WBA has ordered Bes***** vs. Ugas, so let's see what happens!
What does undefeated have to do with anything? Ugas has a better resume right now than Spence did in 2015. A way better resume.
How can he have a better resume with 4 losses, and Spence was undefeated? Anyway, Thurman did not want that work in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018! If you want a much better analogy it would be that Spence won't fight Jaron" Boot" Ennis! Nobody wants that work, not Spence, not Crawford, nor Pacquiao! He's 25-0, w/ 23 KOs, and only 23 years old!
