American posters: how popular is Dillian Whyte in the US?

WHyte is loved in the UK because he's the antithesis of the politically correct Josh despite being not half as smart. People who don't like Josh embrace Whyte. He plays a role that a section of the society likes.Comment

Again:LMAO Stopped reading at the Bolded! Should anyone with a brain hold more stock in Forbes or random british shillings for weasel hearns who have no understanding of Boxing let alone business?! Cut it out. I'm sure the rest of your delusional rhetoric was built off the bolded nonsense. Now I asked two very simple questions- all I need is a yes or no?
LMAO. You have to be an accursed m0r0n to believe Wilder made $46.5M in a year for 2 fights with no endorsements despite selling less than 100k PPV in one and barely selling over 500k in the other.
Fury allegedly made almost $57M in the same publication from 3 fights, WWE and $7M in endorsements. Once you do the math since Wilder and Fury had 50/50 split in their fight - that means Wilder made more money fighting Luis Ortiz than fighting Fury despite selling less than 100k PPV for the fight (according to Forbes). LMAO.
Forbes couldn't even do proper math in the bogus figures and it shows how idiotic they're.
Funnily enough, Forbes claimed Fury made $57M but somehow he didn't make Sunday Times list in the UK where a lot of athletes with net worth of £15-20M were listed. How sway? LMAO. And Sunday Times list is for all Brits regardless of where they live or make their money and foreign nationals living in the UK.
Wilder hasn't earned $46.5M in his career combined! His true net worth can't be far off from Dillian Whyte's! And with all the hands in his pocket - a promoter, 3 managers and 2 trainers - I won't be surprised if Whyte has more money than Wilder tbh.
Don't run now! LMAO.Comment

i wouldnt say 'elite' because we know he falls short of the very top level, but he's appreciated because of his struggles and his 'idgaf' attitude and the fact he's trying.
Look at all those boring americans, kevin johnson, brezeale, martin, molina etc. They literally fight with fear and on the backfoot, they say a lot, but don't even go into a fight trying.
AJ vs Whyte was the first AJ fight where his opponent brought it. He almost had AJ in the second.
In his defence, he was banned from the amateurs because he'd had a couple of kickboxing fights. That's unfair. Then there was a failed drugs test in 2012 where the substance was literally banned only a month before and was in a supplement he'd got over the counter but was sold a previous version (this is common, as a lot of supplement stores dont have a fast turnover rate. Yet he ended up with a 2 year ban.
In that time, AJ excelled, whilst whyte was just training in his garage. He got paid very little vs AJ but used that money to improve his training. The parker win and chisora ko were the stand out moments since. He's chased Wilder...and we've all wanted to see that fight, but it hasn't come because Wilder is a coward. He was offered $5m and turned it down, but got paid $2m vs ortiz and $5m vs TF (first fight) so there's no doubt he ducked Whyte.
Those reasons aswell as that Whyte is a funny character are why we all like him here. He's certainly not boring like most HWs.
Also, he passed the vada tests and won his case with Ukad saying there was a possible contamination.
I find the way the news was 'leaked' by Hauser, who's on al haymon's payroll, itself a big clue who was behind it. Whyte had a legal case pending.
In one recording before the fight in the press conference, Whyte was heard saying to Eddie 'are they trying to set me up?' and 'i've not slept for 3 nights'.
So sure, after all that fking nightmare he was finally cleared, accepted a fight on short notice and came in heavy.
i think brits are more intelligent and understand wider contexts aswell as appreciate people more. Americans tend to be toxic.
just as a random example
imagine Danny Garcia vs Zab Judah had been a uk fight...i think brits would still talk about it. So it isnt that the US doesnt have the content or the characters, it's that you just love to fking trash them. That fight btw was brilliant.Comment

He's known only if you are a boxing fan. If you are a casual fan then I would have to say no. He's an unknown.Comment
