How come financially well off boxers dont help with boxers that have lost everything?

How come financially well off boxers like Lennox, Klitchko bros, Leornard, Mayweather, Canelo, Foreman etc. don't provide financially to their fellow boxers that are financially struggling? Why not give them some money to help them get on their feet? There are are a lot more boxers that are struggling financially that are not on this list, but these are just a few.

Iran Barkley was a WBC Middleweight, IBF Super Middleweight and WBA Light Heavyweight champion. During his playing career he amassed around $5 million. He was homeless in 2010 and was surviving off meals provided by friends.

Wilfred Benitez He is the youngest world champion in boxing history. When he was just 17-years-old he won a split decision over 30-year-old Antonio Cervantes for the WBA light welterweight championship. Sadly, today he is confined to a wheelchair and relies on government assistance to survive. His father mismanaged most of the money his son earned. Benitez had earned more than $3 million during his playing years.

Thomas Hearns. During his career, Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns earned $40 million and won eight world titles in six different divisions. Unfortunately in 2010, "The Hitman" was forced to auction many of his possessions to pay tax debts of $250,000.

Rid**** Bowe. He is former undisputed heavyweight champion and earned $50 million during his career. But his wealth was mismanaged by his advisors. He was reportedly seen trying to sell his own autographed memorabilia at a flea market in New Jersey.

Evander Holyfield. Throughout the years, the former undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight champion earned $250 million. The only four-time world heavyweight champion owes thousands of dollars in child support. His suburban Atlanta estate was reportedly auctioned off on July 1, 2008.

They'd all go broke helping fools who couldn't take care of their money. They made millions and lost it one way or another yet there's your average joe not homeless, not eating from handouts and living pay check to pay check. Modern day boxers have been excellent with their money and good on them.

a lot of guys do donate to Benitez and McClellan.

While on the other hand, guys would have less sympathy for a Holyfield or a Broner.

Because those boxers were grown men who squandered their money. Who is to say they wouldn't squander the money someone gave them to help them out? It also isn't their responsibility just because they shared the same profession

That shouldn't matter though. At the end of the day, Holyfield and Broner are fighters just like all other fighters.

            People make mistakes.

But a lot of the time, it's not the fighters fault. There have been many fighters that have being taken advantage of by people in control of their money.

First explain why they have such responsibility to do so.

I'm not saying for them to be responsible for other fighters.

I'm just saying they should look out for their fellow boxer and provide for them financially if they are struggling.
