Comments Thread For: Jerry Forrest Inks Promotional Pact With Lou DiBella

DiBella Entertainment has signed heavyweight contender Jerry "Slugger" Forrest (26-3, 20 KOs), a 6-foot-1 southpaw from Newport News, VA, to an exclusive promotional agreement. Forrest was born in Lafayette, LA, but moved to ******ia as a young child when his father enlisted in the Navy. His boxing aspirations began after a series of high school senior year brawls convinced Forrest that he had the aptitude to compete in the sweet science. Accumulating a 34-5 amateur record, Forrest won gold medals four times at the ******ia State Golden Gloves tournament, four times at the Washington D.C. Regionals tournament, twice at the California Tournament of Champions, and once at the North Carolina Golden Gloves. He also competed in the National Golden Gloves tournament twice and made it to the semi-finals of the 2012 Olympic Qualifiers.

Why 2021 for Jerry Forest to box?

Jerry Forest vs Filip Hrgovic in April, 17 of 2021? Someone know the reason why Jerry Forest is going to fight Filip Hrgovic in 2021 and not 2020?

They have plans to put Jerry Forest in 2020, before fighting Filip Hrgovic in 2021?

I hope Lou Dibella know what he doing, If this was not a error.

Thought he beat Franklin pretty clearly, judges didn't see it that way. I haven't been I pressed with Franklin who labored in wins against Sour and Booker (and Booker could have won that fight).

Forrest's other two losses came to Gerald Washington and Mike Hunter so kind of tells you where he's probably at in the boxing tiers.

Wish him luck and we'll see how he does.
