Comments Thread For: Stevenson: Mayweather Comparisons Feel Good, But I'm Gonna Surpass Floyd

Floyd Mayweather and Shakur Stevenson have some noteworthy things in common. The legendary Mayweather and Stevenson both were U.S. Olympians who signed with promoter Bob Arum and manager James Prince. They also won world titles when they were in their early 20s Mayweather at 21, Stevenson at 22.

Good to be ambitious but as I have stated before I just don't see that X factor in Shakur like I saw in Mayweather and Andre Ward when he was in the super 6. I think he will be a very good boxer though and win a few titles.

Too much talking perhaps that it just doesn't feel genuine. Similar to Broner and Spence as of recently to an extent. I feel like it is a bad sign that focus will be lost at some point.

He just done his career, this guy is just still learning how to punch. He is not Mayweather skill wise or as a fighter he is boring to watch. Hit and run stinks out the joint, he needs great dance partners
