Canelo from Guadalajara, Mexico but fighting in LV not considered fighting on the road...

    Okay.

I haven't said that. That's what you presumed..

I suggested nelo would cherry pick this next fight... You reeled off names for G and I said it sounds similar then as in terms of cherry picking which is claimed by both sets of fans. I'm no G or nelo fan..

Sorry to disappoint but you're barking up the wrong tree...

        Okay.
Vegas is always home territory for the guy in the sport who brings in the most $$$s, man, and twice a year Vegas might as well be Mexico City.

End of the day Vegas will always prefer a Mexican or Mex-American superstar although Floyd managed to make it his for a few years.

But yes, point taken and I stand corrected. Vegas is indeed technically 'on the road' for Canelo despite that he fights there in front of a largely partisan Hispanic and Latino crowd and seems to sometimes receive preferential judging as a home fighter might. Nonetheless I will give him still additional credit for fighting in Asia or Europe.

well the road implies you're at some sort of disadvantage whether it be crowd support, hometown judging against you, etc. Canelo has never been in a crowd where he wasn't supported more than the opponent, has never had a bad scorecard against him and had received very favorable treatment in Vegas. So no, it's not a true "on the road" scenario. Similar to when Chavez would fight in Texas or Cotto would fight in ny. Technically on the road... But not really.

All of the sudden GGG is not listed as an opponent. Now there is smoke possibly of GGG -Pacquiao. Makes sense. GGG beats that polish kid then faces Pac in like December. If he beats him it sets up for a huge cinco de mayo fight #3 between Canelo and GGG which i would think would have fans in stands by then. Just saying. If GGG did fight Pac and lost sets up Pac-Canelo at 160. Another huge fight.

Someone who is 34+ y.o., comes out of loss, who moves up in weight or draines himself down to 164,5, the recipe is known

Can we say the same thing about GGG in NYC?

I mean most had him losing to Seegiy and Jacobs a lot of ppl thought won.

I thought you said only Canelo gets "Gift" decisions???
