Egidijgidijus Kavalavaiauskas was a hungry young lion willing to step up to the plate. He tried his best but came up short, not before dropping the always durable T-Bud first though.

Wait a minute I didn't know Deryev was considered a bum around here?(I considered him a fringe contender before he mauled ggg though) But kavauliaskas was the definition of a pathetic ultra cherrypick ala Szeremeta, both cherrypicks are a joke of #1 contenders. Bud should be absolutely ashamed of his bumfighting resume but instead hes rated #1 by espn so he thinks hes an atg with a atg resume merely because he got the easiest undisputed in history & is erroneously called p4p#1 by goalposts movers everywhere..

Who said he was a bum? PBC fans whom thought Charlo didn’t need him?

Not one week ago there were at least three threads saying GGG is a bumslayer. Few days ago, people criticizing rumors Canelo was going to fight him (Sergiy).

Since GGG fought Derevyanchenko, that must include him too, right?

No, the title thread IS the question.

If G is a bumslayer, you're saying Derevyanchenko is a bum.

IF he's a bum, then what does that make Kavaliauskas?

He's not an elite opponent. He's world class but he's not the best of the best. And therefore a cherrypick when considering Lil g outright ducked Andrade and Charlo whom had belts- in order to later on face Drev for a vacant title. Historical Context is everything.
Kalvb was Crawford's mandatory. No way around that. If he couldn't make a unification happen he had no choicer but to face his mandatory. There is no equivalence here.

Derevyanchenko should have won that night. Regardless of whether or not he fell short/lost that night, he's a good fighter.

Kavaliauskas is pretty underrated in my opinion. Crawford deserves respect for that fight. Just because someone is unknown it doesn't make them a 'bum.'

Ok, so when Crawford's mando was Danny Swift and Crawford refused it, what's that make Danny?

Something isn't right. You fight mandos happily UNTIL one of them is a world class fighter, then you complain he wants too much money and turn around and give that money to a guy who wasn't the mando and nobody asked for.

At least with G, he fought a tough, durable opponent with a solid record and decent names on the resume even in loss.
