How come Tim Bradley wasn't really liked?

Bradley had his share of fans, but no where near the likes of a Mayweather. So what was wrong with Bradley and why didn't he have a lot of fans?
Inside the ring, Bradley was for the most part undefeated, willing to fight the best, he was a great fighter with fun fights, and he always gave it his all. Outside the ring he was just as good too. He was a father, a husband, well spoken, and never got in trouble with the law, yet he didn't have fans.
Whereas you have someone like Mayweather, in the ring he was someone who many thought had boring fights, didn't look for the best fights, and did just enough to get the decision victory. Outside the ring he was an ignorant gambler, loud and obnoxious, and even went to jail for physical abuse towards women, yet he had plenty of fans.
How does Bradley not have fans but Mayweather does?
Bradley is kinda like Shawn Porter
both are outstanding young men
both are very professional
someone like Broner on the other hand, and Tank... are not outstanding young men, and are not professional
yet, Broner and Tank are way more popular than those other guys
nobody gives a shlt about morals in this sport, and nor should they
this is boxing... there are other sports that punters can follow if they urgently need a injection of morals and ethics into their lives
boxing history in full of rapists murderers and scoundrels... for the most part, we seem to like it that way
I admire Porter, and Bradley to a lesser degree, for the way they carry themselves... Porter is outstanding, you can tell that Kenny Porter is a good man... but yea when it comes to boxing, who really caresComment

He took a lot of heat for leaving for Top Rank instead of fighting Amir Khan at 140.
People thought he was running to a weaker stable instead of getting fights with Khan, Cotto, or Floyd.
Worked out for him as he got 3 big money fights with Pac as well as solid paydays with Marquez and Rios. He had a good career. He was never on Floyd or PACs level as a fighter or a draw.Comment

During Bradley’s prime there was basically two legions of fans. Pacquiao and Floyd fans. Pacquiao fans hated Tim because he apparently robbed him, even though he had nothing to do with the decision. Floyd fans hated him because Tim was a TR/HBO guy.Comment

My general impression of Tim was that he was a homebody. He never put himself out there in for the public to discover except for 2 or 3 days a year he would fight and when you're competing for attention in 2008-2016 against the likes of Mayweather, Cotto, Marquez, Pacqiuao, and others you gotta do more than just win twice or three times a year.Comment

How is he only worth 10 million? He took a lot of heat for leaving for Top Rank instead of fighting Amir Khan at 140.

There are a few reasons.
He had no special gift in the ring that drew fans to him the way Mayweather's obvious speed and defensive prowess did, or Manny's dynamite offensive talent.
As such, he didn't participate in particularly dramatic fights for a long time.
He had a bad reputation early in his career for headbutting and fighting dirty.
The blame for the Khan fight not happening fell mostly on him, which was a big deal since that fight was pretty big and very much wanted.
The Pacquiao robbery turned fans against him further.
Bradley had a lot of things, some his fault and some not, that made it really easy not to like him for most of his career. He was a poor man's Holyfield without the exciting fights or prestigious division to his credit. It wasn't until the Provodnikov war that people appreciated Bradley more.Comment
