she is hoodrat trash but I agree with her here, no reason for them not to be 3 minute rounds. You cant hardly get anything done in 2 minutes, theyre supposed to be pro level fighters

Shorter fights tend to be more exciting since you do not have to worry about stamina and getting tired in the latter rounds. Is Clarissa saying that if she fought for 3 mins she would get paid what men typically make?

Her pay has nothing to do with rounds and everything to do with her performance and the level of competition there is in women's boxing. Nobody enjoys watching people fight for last place. In any competition, the vast majority want to see the best go against the best, NOT last place fighting for last place.

I totally agree, women’s boxing lately have produced some FOTY contenders and exciting fights, extend the minutes and rounds and there will be more knockouts and then more will tune in...simple!

Shields has an exciting style but she other women deserve more time to work, the excuses from the commissions of why women don’t get 3 min and 12 rounds is absolute hypocrisy and borderline ***ist!

Imagine Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano with 3 min/12 rounds, can you say all time all action classic!
