  • Comments Thread For: Claressa Shields Wants 3-Minute Rounds, Equality In Women's Boxing

Claressa Shields strongly believes more of her opponents would be gone if she had 60 more seconds. Shields (10-0, 2 KOs), a three-division champion and two-time US gold medalist, is calling for women's bouts to graduate from two-minute rounds to three-minute rounds so that she can fight on an equal playing field to her male counterparts.

she is hoodrat trash but I agree with her here, no reason for them not to be 3 minute rounds. You cant hardly get anything done in 2 minutes, theyre supposed to be pro level fighters

      Sounds like a great idea

Would anyone even notice? Does anyone even watch this? Have 10 minute rounds as nobody cares

Probably still wouldn’t humble her which says much about her

Wouldn't we all like an extra 30 seconds?

On a serious note, if her record is right at 2 KO in 10 fights then it's a tad premature thinking shed have **** more out. Maybe she'd have ran outta steam and her clean record gone..
