Canelo fans will be swooping in here all snarly and rabid soon. Funny thing is I’m convinced they have all seen more Golovkin fights than they have seen Canelo fights. It’s like they watch boxing so they can whine about something.

Did you know there is a record for most title sucessfull defenses. It's 27 title defenses. Two fighters share it. One of them is Julio Cesar Chavez. We're they consecutive. No they weren't. Like I said I really don't care all I was doing is offering an opinion on whether or not Golovkin would move up. Might be true, but it's still just an opinion.
Another opinion might be Sergey was a shot fighter, Trout has lost every time he stepped up in class, Cotto was a 35 year old, pumped up 140 pounder, who had suffered viscous beat downs at the hands of Pac and Margarito and the Lara victory was a gift.
But don't come crying to me, it's only an opinion. :-)

As far as I know that is also a record for most successful title defenses in the middleweight division. I asked you for names of middleweights that had more than 20 and you did not come up with any. I'm not invested in this. If I'm wrong I'm wrong. If he gets one more win he will be one up on Hopkins overall. IMO that is a new record. I don't know why you don't understand this. Secondly this whole thing came out of a discussion about Golovkin's future plans and why he might or might not move up. I explained that to you numerous times.
