The pandemic set back timelines. Everyone should acknowledge that.

Plus unifications should always be seen as more important than mandatories.

As predicted Sulaiman is selling the WBC belt to high bidder...
Is anyone really shocked? Mauricio Sulaiman changes the rules, suspends mandatorys and for a fee make fighters unbeatable & allow the use of PED's. The WBC is a corrupt outfit that rigs rankings and fights to favor the biggest cash grab.

And I bet if they do that, Arum, Warren and Fury will all say that AJ is running from them, even though it was Fury who wouldn't sign to fight AJ the last couple of years.
Why not? Josh and Whyte’s destinies aren’t intertwined. If Whyte is mad about WBC - he needs to spend the money he spent on his PED case on taking Sulai to court.

He should sue. But it's a slippery slope to sue the organization that is already black balling you. May end up being lose-lose

Why is Whyte upset at Mauricio Suleiman?

If Fury-Joshua happens, that deal will be done by Eddy Hearn...Whyte's own promoter. Why go blame others for that?

If he can’t sue, then he should be patient. No one is going to throw a mega fight under the table for Whyte.

No, but I wouldnt be patient if I were him either. He's waited forever while Wilder ducked him and now Fury is trying to do the same thing. And people are forgetting about Uysk. He may have to fight AJ for the same reason. So what happens if the AJ vs Usk fight happens? Does Fury get to wait it out and avoid Whyte? Fury should just take care of the mandatory and then if/when he and AJ have cleared up all their business, we can have a clean, pure unification fight with everything on the line. No funny business

I believe Arum is talking about meeting with the alphabet bodies to suspend mandatories for a year for the big fights to happen due to the covid issue - until things get back to normal. So Usyk will most likely be pushed back as well.

Whyte had his chance last year but turned it down. Wilder who ducked him for 3 years is no longer the champ and Fury has never been the type to take high risk and low reward fights. So he'll have to be patient or sue WBC.

Also, watching the interview on IFL TV - WHyte himself doesn't want to fight anyone. He just wants to fight the 3 big names and retire (that's what he said). And right now, he can't get them because they're also looking to cash in, hence he needs to be patient.

Get the unification fight out of the way, that’s what the fans want to see. After that Whyte can get his shot, he’s waited all this time, he can wait a few more months.

There are 4 belts and Fury is just holding one. Why is Whyte not fighting for the other 3? Why he didn't fight Joshua last year? Why he didn't fight Pulev before that? The Pulev fight had a purse bid of $1.5m but Whyte ditched that because he would get less share. When he ditched the fight even though it was the final eliminator, so can others.

Thing is everyone wants to make the fight that gets them the most money or the least risk. What if Fury-Joshua happens and Fury wins? He could be elevated to a franchise champ. Or either of Fury or Joshua will also have to take care of other mandatories too. Good luck with that.

And I keep saying that if Fury-Joshua happens, it will be a deal done by Whyte's own promoter. So, why go blaming others? Why not blame Hearn to first give him his title shot before making a unification fight? If your own promoter is ready to screw you, you have no right pointing fingers at others.
