Those articles are all BS on net worth.

They have no way to know because its not public information. Even forbes just takes the word of whatever the celebrities tell them and has to trust whatever documents they give them are authentic.

The only thing you can trust is the shareholder reports listing executives and how much shares they own in companies and that wont get you an actual net worth but it will atleast give you an idea and its accurate public information.

I’m not saying they get paid fair because UFC does low ball ones worth but the first fight on the ppv cards make way more than the first fighter on boxing ppv cards
Nah, they don’t. Unless 1200 (one thousand two hundred) dollars is “way more”.

Boxers get paid significantly more on average. Outside of McGregor, even the REALLY big names like Jon Jones are “only” (it’s a lot obviously) bringing in 5mil and that’s fighting the biggest hardest fights every fight out. Some of the other champs are barely breaking a mil in some cases, especially if they arent the main fight.

There’s only a few in the entire league making millions, where as in boxing, it’s hard not to make a mil if youre at the top of the division and it’s really unfortunate. But that’s just because it’s a league and the money just trickles down.

UFC was what..only 17, 18% of revenue goes to fighters or somethin awful like that? And of that 17% in an event, a couple of the people are taking a huge chunk of it..and you’ve got 20 other fighters who fought in the event seeing huge decreases in pay despite really high rankings.

But you’re essentially a salary man in the UFC and you get what you are given. The UFC could earn 200mil off people paying to see Jon Jones...but they decide his value. You get what you get or you dont fight period. Whereas in boxing, you can demand 5 mil to fight such and such and if they decline, you can fight someone else of your choosing. MMA fighters deserve better and if Khabib is worth that much, I’d be shocked. We know it aint from sponsors...

Basically, one (UFC) you fight *for* a business. Boxing, you ARE the business (with a hired marketing team, etc.)
