I ain't mad at it but there are other fights I'd rather see Canelo in. I get it doe, during a pandemic when you are unlikely to be able to fill a arena due to new rules or maybe you can't even put anyone in a seat we aren't going to get the tip top options. And that said SD is probably the best guy to fight under the current restrictions.

I highly doubt Canelo fights anyone without a strap. I can see a benavidez match but that's a tough sell. They probably just go back to the original deal to fights BJS.

thats true larry but just mapping out his career over the next year if he goes old kovalev, brings dervy up in weight, then brings old ggg up in weight thats going to be a very lackluster run. he has guys to fight at 160, 168, or 175. ggg or andrade at 160, charlo if the politics work out. callum smith at 168 or saunders, and beterbev or bivol at 175.

I believe Nelo when he says that he fights for Legacy. He is a throw back fighter. He already has money but he does not want to get ripped off by fighter asking for big ass purses especially ones that don't deserve it or have a fan base. I will not be a fan of Nelo if he is not down to fight Saunders, Smith, and Beterbev. He will fight them. Charlo is a nobody and chasing Nelo for that pay day and I hope Canelo doesnt fight him until Charlo fights x champs or current champs. The Bivol fight might happen in the future but not now. They do have similar age ( I think they are both 29) so they can fight at a later time. Bivol might be too much for Canelo right now. Andrade is a boring ass fight for Nelo and there is the possibility that he could outbox Nelo. With the Canelo run in the future he will take an L eventually but thats because it will be an epic run. Just my thoughts while drinking my Modelo.
