JMM was a CW of 144 , thats not WW , Manny was 147.

The point is you did not complain when Manny did it multiple times yet you are all over Canelo .

but i agree with your assessment. its just a win over a faded guy floyd style. its getting bad for canelo. he needs a prime win soon to stop this trend
Lol. DAZN was giving Canelo more than $33 million for the GGG fight. He said it himself he would only fight GGG if he was given substantially more. Guess which other side got jealous of that and backed off? Of course Reynoso would want Team Canelo to get what DAZN had to submit to..

the third manny marquez fight was also at 144.. also anything above 140 is ww.you are just trying to find criticism for criticisms sake. i said it wasnt a compelling fight just like this one isnt. where is the hypocrisy there? you can make a much better case for manny-marquez 3 becuse they had already fought in 2 classics. dervy and canelo have never fought so there is nothing there

Yeah, I'd say it most likely favours Canelo. 'A' side privilege I guess. I don't imagine I'd be quibbling over weight if I was offered a few $ mil either though.

He has four fights left. So lets say he fights his mandatory next and then Canelo. Win or lose he will have two fights left on his deal. He may make enough money off the Canelo fight that he may choose to call it a career if he takes a convincing loss. Of course, since he can pretty much fight anyone he wants, he may just ride it out and fight lower top 10 opponents. I wouldn't be mad at that.

hes already made like 50 million dollars in his career so it puzzles me why you would keep going after making that much but i think rich people get tempted by more more more. its not really about the money in a use value sense

thats true larry but just mapping out his career over the next year if he goes old kovalev, brings dervy up in weight, then brings old ggg up in weight thats going to be a very lackluster run. he has guys to fight at 160, 168, or 175. ggg or andrade at 160, charlo if the politics work out. callum smith at 168 or saunders, and beterbev or bivol at 175.
