Fury deserves a big contract - that is for sure. But everybody knows that Fans dictate $$$ and Joshua and Canelo are miles away from him as it stands.
Fury’s fan base is increasing but he doesn’t warrant the biggest contract and won’t get the biggest contract for the time being.
I’m actually nearly through his book, well worth a read (or listen in my case as I used audible) but I do find it remarkable how fury himself believes he took on stronger opponents than most others in his build up in his career - yet anyone can compare Joshua’s resume and fury and it’s clear he gulf in opponent that has been faced during the rise in their careers. Those opponents and the hype that came with it is what has elevated Joshua to such a height - fury is playing catch up and his behaviour and story does lend itself in the current climate (mental health 20 years ago would’ve been a non story) but realistically he needs to fight and beat Joshua to stand a chance of becoming the biggest $$$ today.
