Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Deserves Biggest Contract in Boxing, Says Warren

WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury is deserving a 'trillion dollar contract' when he renegotiates his new agreement with Top Rank, according to his co-promoter Frank Warren. Fury recently discussed that there are two fights remaining on his co-promotional deal with Top Rank - and he's going to want a lot more money to re-sign with them.

Funny how he keeps saying Fury is a British boxer, yet he cannot fight in the UK because of steroids, which he never brings up. Also, explain again how a boxer who had 4K fans in the stands just two fights ago, how does he deserve a huge contract? Hahhahahah

Yeah, I'm still waiting to hear the name of that charity haha. Along with the names of the sponsors that he supposedly got 7 million from last year hahah. 7 million in sponsors, and almost no TV commercials or ads. Riiiight...

He's collected a lot of fickle American fans so I see where Frank is coming from in terms of popularity which In terms = PPV buys...

What Fury earns Frank takes so he's going to big him up..

Frank's the bloke that walked the streets and found a winning lottery ticket that someone dropped..

He should change his name to Charlie Bucket..

That idea was messed up by DAZN. They paid Canelo on the premise of the 2 fights with GGG and found out that he gets paid without that fight regardless. Same as GGG. They paid him for the same and now he is on the same game fighting second tier for big bucks. Unless Fury could guarantee the names he would fight in order to bring in the PPV numbers...and he cant...no one would take the risk. I think boxing is going to return to single or double bout (rematch) contracts where fighters will get paid based on opponent rather than on speculation.

Fury might deserve slightly more per fight than Canelo's deal if his next contract includes 2 fights with Joshua for all the belts but it would be idiotic to give him a deal longer than 3 to 5 fights

Toprank had to give tickets away for Tom Schwarz and only managed to sell 1500 Tickets for Otto Wallin ; the rest of the seats were free and nobody showed up. Face it, Gypsy-Fraud Tyson Fury is only making cake because he robbed Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder.

This clown cant even box in England, Anthony Joshua is the big-cheese over there. Tyson Fury, is absolutely overpaid and undeserving of any big purses considering he just dodged another ban by UKAD.

I don't know about a 'trillion dollar contract' for Fury.

But he should be remunerated no worse than show pony AJ. AJ discrespect started not after his loss to Ruiz, but after his 'win' over Ruiz.

Tyson really fights the big fights lately and challenges himself.
