Crawford will be the 2nd best fighter Manny faced in his entire career; a close second. Manny was younger than the #1 guy he faced and was completely ineffective. Bud will hurt him bad. Pac fans should not be clamoring for this fight.

Floyd Mayweather has never been officially dropped, and the three who managed to even get close - two were clear slip (Berto, Castillo), one was a flash (Judah). Manny couldn't even come close to doing it.

Yet Manny Pacquiao has dropped every other top name he faced, at least once.

The flaw in your logic, is putting Crawford's name anywhere near Floyd Mayweather. It's not close.

You know who is? Timothy Bradley.

Because Bradley had the same issue with temper that Crawford does. Which is what was getting him wrecked against Provod.

If Crawford fights Manny, it will be a repeat of Pac/Bradley 3, for the same reasons. Rolled up like a buttermilk biscuit and relegated to untapped potential like Keef.

he landed the much cleaner punches so im not sure how that is completely ineffective. floyd couldnt really get much going at all so when you compare what pac was doing to floyd to what floyd was doing to pac it was far more effective,. you cac go round by round and most of the head rocking shots were pacs. sure it was ineffective if you compare pac to some of his other fights but is that how boxing should be scored? it would be like saying floyd was ineffective look how badly he beat gatti up and then he barely landed anything clean against pac so i guess pac won! that would be silly...all you have to do is compare what fighter a did to what fighter b did in that particular fight. sure it was boring but yeah floyd wasnt doing clean work for the most part so that should be a credit to pac but i guess you have your own way of scoring fights

I've learned that everyone does apparently. May-Pac was a **** fight, but if you scored it for Pac then I don't know what to say. You've got your own scoring method.

PAC fans are true boxing fans. We understand that anytime he steps in the ring, it’s going to be a good fight...as long as PAC’s opponent throws punches. I know everybody’s still grudging over the over-hyped May-Pac fight...but it’s time for fans to let that go.... it’s a never ending argument that can go around and around.

TC is no Mayweather. His style isn’t sophisticated, nor is it complicated. He’s just a pretty good but coddled fighter with a spotless record, that really hasn’t been battle-tested against another fighter of note. He’s been dropped by unknowns, frustrated by styles so much, he fights sloppily. For those reasons, I find him to be a bit overrated.

Pac fans are Pac fans.

Cant say that Crawford hasnt proved himself just yet, he been in with no one near Mannys class so he might fall flat on his face.

Dont get me wrong I see the potential in TC just saying he hasnt been tested and his opponents are not all that good.

Well, I suppose I can't say that Tyson Fury would beat 2020 version of Mike Tyson either, but I have a pretty good feeling about it.

The good thing about Manny is he can run his own show now. Yes hes with Haymon but Haymon is an adviser and not a promoter so there is no legal restriction for Manny to fight anyone (despite Spence crying the opposite).

Since Manny wants the fight it will happen. This is the biggest of 2020 - dont get it twisted.

And you better believe Haymon will pay BIG MONEY to try and steer Manny away from Crawford because of Crawford wins he'll hold the chips. And WW is the only division PBC has a grasp on.

Nonetheless really, really hoping the fight happens as it is terrific for both guys. Terrence Crawford gets a chance to fight a legend and add to his desperately lacking resume while Pac gets a chance to continue and make his case for ATG status against a universally regarded Top 3 PFP and sometimes considered Top 1 PFP.

The whole reason this fight is being talked about is because Haymon wont guarantee Pac at minimum 20 million to fight Danny Garcia and Errol Spence turned down the Pac fight. If Pac reached out to Arum about a Crawford fight you can be damn sure he reached out to Haymon about fighting Spence for those two titles.

Watch for the check righthook to nullify Pac's lunging flurries. That sneaky left he throws off of peppering jabs or leading with wont be nearly as effective against a fellow southpaw. Crawford's uppercuts will also split his guard when he tries to cover up on the inside. Who is the best southpaw win on Pac's resume?
