Lennox Lewis vs. Tyson Fury prime for prime.

2 of the best HWs to ever come out of England.

How does Lewis do against Fury's size, reach, and footwork?

Lennox would batter and spark the fat gypo out in 3 rds.

The two best HW to come out of the UK are Lennox and Josh. Both unified and defended their titles. And they were champions for years. Fury has only been a champ for less than 9 months.

Gypsy Cheat doesn’t have the power to take advantage of Lewis’s glass chin.

If both were trained by both relatives Manny Steward and Sugar Hill it would be a toss up. Slight edge to Lewis for now but if Fury can put on another showing against competent boxer of size we would know more , the closest thing to Lewis is AJ now and it’s a bit unfair if Fury loses because I think Lewis strength won’t work as well with Fury which was roughing guys up and commanding center ring , Furys reach enables him to box outside of it .

Either way the betting lines would be nearly pickem ,you can’t really say one kills the other ,this fight probably goes 12 .

Only reason Lennox lost his only two fights was because he got too comfortable leaving himself open for devastating bombs.

But you can't really blame him as Rahman and McCall have always been trash. We saw how the rematches played out.

Rahman and McCall were also noticeably smaller and shorter than Lennox.

Rarely has Lennox been the shorter man would not take anything lightly about Fury at 6'9 and 255lb.

He fights serious every second of the fight.... Until he ultimately stops Fury.

Likely by the ref having to jump in and stop it somewhere around the 10th or 11th.

Rahman wasn't trash. He's a 2X champ with wins over Lewis, Sanders, and Berbick; draws with Toney and Tua. Got in there with Holyfield, Makaev twice, Ruiz, etc.

Deserves some respect. Not one of the greats but still a damn fine heavyweight in his era.

              Lewis by split decision.

I'm not with the whole Lennox would destroy Fury people.

He didn't destroy Oliver McCall, Ray Mercer or Evander Holyfield in his prime, both who are considerably smaller than Tyson Fury.

He'd win, but it'd be a good fight

Tyson Fury is 6'9" with boxing skills unseen in a man that large ever.

He'd be a handful for anybody who ever lived.

It’s a good fight but Lewis > Fury every day of the week. It’s a tough fight but anyone picking Fury is obviously new to boxing. He wouldn’t beat Lewis.

Fury would be very lucky to last 3 rounds with Lewis. Its easy to look like a boxing genius against a crude swinger like Wilder, but Lewis was a totally different level and added to all those skills he was one of the most underated punchers among the heavyweight greats.
I like Fury but he is not and never will be as good as Lewis, on his game he was among the very best of all time.

I think Lewis wins by KO. Fury's height and reach didn't stop Cunningham from dropping hard or Wilder coming so close to winning by KO. In his prime I think Lewis was a better all around fighter and a harder puncher.
